GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Anjeka-5520 is a high-performance, silicone-free defoamer engineered specifically for polyurethane resin systems. Its unique chemical structure effectively eliminates both microfoam and macrofoam generated during production, application, and curing processes, and is compatible with both solvent-borne and solvent-free formulations.

STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Store in a cool, dry place in tightly sealed containers.
The recommended maximum shelf life is 12 months.
If separation or haze occurs due to storage below 5°C, warm the material to 20°C and mix thoroughly until homogeneous before use.
SPECIAL NOTES
Due to its relatively low compatibility, evaluation in non-polar systems is required to assess potential impacts on film clarity and cratering risk, especially in clear coats.

Primary Application Sectors:
Industrial Coatings: Solvent-borne PU wood/industrial/plastic/metallic coatings; solvent-free PU self-leveling floor coatings; anticorrosive coatings.
Adhesives & Sealants: 1K/2K PU structural adhesives; reactive hot-melt adhesives (PUR); electronic potting/encapsulation resins (ideal for silicone-sensitive applications); automotive sealants.
Elastomers & Composites: Cast PU elastomers (CPU); TPU processing; PU composite impregnation and molding.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE
0.1% – 1.0% (as supplied), based on total formulation weight.
Note: The optimum dosage must be determined through laboratory testing.
INCORPORATION & PROCESSING
For optimal performance, incorporate the defoamer prior to the grinding stage.
If added post-grind, ensure sufficient shear is applied to achieve homogeneous dispersion and to avoid crater formation.
